"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God"! And that is who we are!
PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW:
I THANK GOD FOR
Mr. TYLER PERRY
Tyler Perry is a very talented and successful playwright, screenwriter, actor, comedian, producer, director, and more. His plays have grossed over $50 million in the United States, and his films have grossed more than $500 million worldwide.
Many people are unaware that Tyler Perry's real name is Emmett Perry, and that he stands 6 feet 6 inches tall. Born in New Orleans, but currently residing in Atlanta, he was a high school drop out, but did eventually obtain his GED.
Perry has millions of fans worldwide - black and white - that love his work. Not only has he set records for independent theater and movies, he also has dominated cable television. His show "House of Payne" that airs on TBS was at one point the most watched cable sitcom ever. The show was so successful that he launched a spin-off "Meet The Browns" just three years later. This too has won the favor of his fans and followers.
Praise To God - The Importance of Praise
Praise to God is what we offer in acknowledgement of God's excellent being. You might think that praise is the same as saying "thank you," but there is a difference. Thanksgiving describes our attitude toward what God has done, while praise is offered for who God is. Psalm 18:3 says "I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise…"
All believers are commanded to praise God! In fact, Isaiah 43:21 explains that praise is one reason we were created, "This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise." Hebrews 13:15 confirms this: "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name."
Praise originates in a heart full of love toward God. Deuteronomy 6:5 says, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." Are you a Christian today? If so, you know that you love God because He first loved you! Without God's love, any praise you can offer is hollow. Love, born from a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, is an essential part of your praise.
Praise To God - How to Praise God
How can you bring praise to God? What can you do to make it an integral part of your life? Praise can be expressed in song, in verse, or in prayer and it is to be done continuously! Psalm 34:1 instructs, "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips." Psalm 71:6 says, "From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you."
Praise to God is expressed outwardly through our everyday actions, as well as inwardly in our thoughts. Praise is an act of Christian worship.
"Where do I begin?" you may ask. "How do I start praising God?" If praising God is new to you, try praising God for who He is to you, personally. Proclaim that God's goodness is without measure; it is abundant and overflowing! Here are some ways to get started:
Praise God for His holiness, mercy, and justice (2 Chronicles 20:21, Psalm 99:3-4).
Praise God for His grace (Ephesians 1:6).
Praise Him for His goodness (Psalm 135:3).
Praise God for His kindness (Psalm 117).
Praise God for His salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Praise to God can be offered anywhere! In time, it will become as normal as taking a breath. Sometimes we praise God inwardly as in Psalm 9:2, "I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." Other times we have opportunity to give glory and praise to our God publicly. Psalm 22:22 says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you." Search out opportunities to bring praise to God!
Praise To God - Who Praises God?
Praise to God, while offered particularly by His children as the freewill expression of grateful hearts, will one day be offered by everyone! The Bible says that when He comes again, all mankind will praise Him and acknowledge Him as Lord. He is King over all the earth. When we know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, our hearts long to praise His name. Philippians 2:9-11 tells us His name represents His being, describing who He is, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
The Bible also records:
All nature praises God (Psalm 148:7-10).
The sun, moon, and stars praise Him (Psalm 19:1 and 148:3).
The angels praise Him (Psalm 148:2).
Even the wrath of men is used by God to praise Himself (Psalm 76:10).
Children are to be taught to praise God (Psalm 78:4).
Praise To God - Do You Proclaim His Praise?
Your praise to God is evidenced through your salvation. 1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
How are you offering praise to God today? Do you know Him as your Lord and Savior? If not, why not begin there. Learn more about salvation. When others look at you, do they see a reflection of God's praise? Psalm 113:3 declares, "From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised."
PRAISE GOD FOR THE BLESSINGS
REJOICING IN THE LORD THE CHILDREN OF GOD ARE CALLED TO BE REPRESENTATIVES OF CHRIST, SHOWING FORTH THE GOODNESS AND MERCY OF THE LORD.
AS JESUS HAS REVEALED TO US THE TRUE CHARACTER OF THE
FATHER, SO WE ARE TO REVEAL CHRIST TO A WORLD THAT DOES NOT KNOW HIS TENDER PITYING LOVE.
PRAY THAT THE GOD OF PEACE WILL HELP YOU IN WHATEVER WAY YOU NEED, SO THAT YOU CAN DO WHAT PLEASES HIM. TO OUR FATHER AND TO JESUS, THAT GOOD SHEPHERD WHO DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO GOD'S PLAN, BE GLORY AND HONOR FOREVER. AMEN.
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD:
Since GOD loves us so much, I beg you to offer yourselves a living sacrifice to HIM. Show your love by obeying and worshiping HIM. Don't let the world change you. Let God change you and guide your thinking. Then you'll know what to do to please HIM. Don't think you're better than someone else. See things the way you should, based on your faith in GOD. The church is like a hurman body with many parts. Each part has it's own work to do. Even though there are many of us, we're all part of one body. We need to work together to keep the body going.
In the church we have different job to do, depending on what fits us best. If you have the gift of prophecy or preaching or teaching, then use it for GOD. If you have the gift of counseling or encouraging others, then do that. If GOD has prospered you, then use your money to help others. Taken from Romans 12.
John 3:16 &17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
1 Th 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
1 Pet 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.
1 Cor.1: 4.....When God gives another, younger Christian a great blessing, are you thankful or jealous? Paul felt thankful that a powerful blessing had fallen on the Corinthians. Though they were still young believers and didn't have it all together, the correction paul administered in this letter was not done from a sense of jealousy. A few verses later, the apostle lets them know he isn't interested in making himself famous, but in lifting up Jesus. From one who had worked to develop thriving churches on two continents, his sense of humility is amazing.
God dosen't give any of us blessings to start a game of "Who Can Top This?" Competition for "spiritual position" just Realizing the futility of such desires, Paul committed himself to doing the real job.....reaching people for Jesus.....instead of trying to make himself look good.
Belonging to a churchcan be a great source of blessing. Such an environment can be therapeutic for soul and body. True, at times problems arise in the community, and some leave angry and bitter; but more often than not, those who work through their problems can find in the church support and fellowship and encouragement that they might not get anywhere else. Think about what church could be like if every member took to heart these words from Paul: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of
Christ” (Gal. 6:2, NIV).
43.Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44.But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45.That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46.For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47.And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48.Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Keep looking up and living for Him not forgetting to tell others whom, you meet everyday just how good God is and how He can save us in a dying world and as the words are spoken, "Come, ye blessed of My Father," Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor and glory, and blessing.
Honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Matthew 25:34; Revelation 5:12, 13
There the redeemer greet those who led them to the Saviour, and all unite in praising Him who died that human beings might have the life that measures with the life of God. The conflict is over. Tribulation and strife are at an end. Songs of victory fill all heaven as the ransomed ones take up the joyful strain, Worthy, worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and lives again, a trumphant conqueror.
"I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and plams in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."
Revelation 7:9, 10.
"These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple: and He that sitteth on the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." "And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain (Thank You Jesus): for the former things are passed away." Revelations 7:14- 17;21:14

THE GREATER LIGHT
HELLO MY DEAR FRIENDS, OUR GOD STANDS AT THE DOOR OF YOUR HEART AND IS WAITING FOR YOU TO OPEN UP YOUR HEART AND SIMPLY LET HIM COME IN
Who are God's children? Spiritual birth makes someone a child of God. It's in the Bible, John 1:12-13, NIV. "To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."
God offers us the opportunity to be His children. It's in the Bible, I John 3:1, NIV. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him."
Christians are adopted into God's family. It's in the Bible, Romans 8:16, NIV. "The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children." Galatians 4:4-5, RSV. "But when the time had fully come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons."
Take a lesson from the children. It's in the Bible, Luke 18:16-17, TLB. "Then Jesus called the children over to Him and said to the disciples, 'Let the little children come to me! Never send them away! For the Kingdom of God belongs to men who have hearts as trusting as these little children's. And anyone who doesn't have their kind of faith will never get within the Kingdom's gates." (Taken from BibleInfo.com) Please visit this site.
